I have $200 on Spain winning the whole competition seeing they have the best team I've ever seen them have.

Russia are very organised and Hiddink has got them very motivated, so anything can happen. But I think it's a tall order to beat the Spanish.

Sick of these 4:45am starts in Sydney to watch it, might as well not bother going to bed

I actually can't make my mind up over this one.

Spain already beat Russia 4 - 1, but the game was much closer than that scoreline suggests.

Spain didn't look all that great against Italy, but they still got through.
Russia made a very good Holland side look rather poor.

I will probably change my mind again by the time the game starts, but for now i will go for Russia 2 - Spain 1.

Statistics are funny, Spain had never beaten Italy in Official games for the last 88 years, and they won this time, Russia have never beaten Spain in official games. In the 1964 Eurocup Spain beat the then called Soviet Union in the finals. Wonder what will happen?. I still favour Spain over Russia.

Well It seems that Russia´s game against Holland has left a lot of people impresed, me too I must admit, however their way of playing will leave the Spanish team many opportunities to score on a counter attack I am sure.

This game will be a real lottery.
Both teams are highly motivated: Spain because they never reach semi-finals before and Russia because they lost the first game 4-1 against Spain. They'll want a vendetta.
Anything can happen. But my heart goes with Spain.
