I've noticed that the Google Blog Search incoming links dashboard widget is already seeing the hotlinking. Whether or not it's an issue I don't know, but certainly Google has that information.
Already implemented the today's version. Now it's possible to to hide the actual URL's of hotlinked files. Search engines will see only the image URL's linked to your won internal folder. You are able to define the name of that fake folder in the options. E.g. /wp-content/imagestore or something like that.

Here is an example of such of a faked image URL:
Code:
http://www.[blogname].com/wp-content/pics/WhZHRFwXHFVcWV5KB0kRQ1VZBFRZXV5bVAhXGldcWRZFEh5XCVZHUl5CFhESXQpQVEdOAQgDARYFUB9RTFRVV1UAUloBFllHVw.jpg
Image caching is not implemented to save your server space. Let the images be pulled from a sponsor's server.

BTW, also when you syndicate some sponsored post with feedwordpress and wp-o-matic, it saves into your wordpress db with an unique GUID, which points to a source server where you have pulled the feed from. Google can easily catch you on it if it look into your own feed (e.g. yourblog.com/feed) - almost all the syndicated post GUID's there will contain the sponsored URL. Thus I have implemented a small protection against it as well. Now in CyberSEO-powered blog all GUID's that you can in in the blog's feed are replaced with fake ones pointing to your blog only.

One more feature added to a newest version of CyberSEO is possibility to shuffle the paragraphs in syndicating posts. Together with synonymizing and random headers/footers it will make your syndicated posts really unique. I doubt even a human will be able to detect the syndicated content
