    Who the FUCK did come up with the 4 videos of 10 seconds each idea?

    I mean... why should the surfer download 4 seperate files when we might as well can offer him one big file of 40 seconds?

                  Also i think depending on what's on the clip i can easily jerk off to a 40 second video. 10 second video would be harder for me.

                              because they dont watch all the clips only 1 or 2.. a 40 sec clip on a hosted gal could get expensive.

                              And, one sponsor off click.. I get 3 or 4 on a 4 video gal.

                                          - lots of tgps don't list gals with 1 movie
                                          - to much free material to jerk off to right away
                                          - longer download times, and less preview... or you have to make it a trailer and show some good scenes.. with 4 clips you can pick awesome scenes and sell the site better

                                              It's 6 files at 10 seconds each, 4 at 15 seconds or 3 at 20 seconds for 1 minute of video.. The 6 files @ 10 seconds was back when we compressed shit at 160x120 sizes maybe without even audio so the surfer could download on their 14k modems. It still makes sense to do 6 - 10 second videos if you actually have a brain and are trying to make a sale.

                                              Obviously you don't know shit about actually trying to market to a horny surfer. The intent of the short length videos is that they get frustrated enough to want to buy the full length video and not deal with the galleries. On top of that.. if you use the gray cells you were gifted with, you'd realize that you should cut the video to include everything EXCEPT the truly good stuff.. Everything right up to the good stuff. That gets them really frustrated so that they buy.

                                              No wonder there's so many failures in this biz. Carry on throwing shit at the wall and hoping some will stick.

                                                                  A hosted movie gallery should be a sample of a particular scene, so with 4 seperate 10 second clips you can pick and chose 4 seperate sections of a scene so there is "story flow" rather than one 40 second block as per your galleries.

                                                                                  Dont agree with you there. If you've got a good product give them a good tast of what you have and they will join. We give plenty of hardcore action in our hosted galls and we do very very nicely. Our galls have 4 x 20 second vids and we dont hold back on the good stuff. ie, (warning a bit extreme)

                                                                                          You'd do even better if you actually teased more and didn't give it away but as long as you're happy with your revenue I guess it doesn't matter. But then I believe in maximizing ones revenue and that my primary job is marketing. It's funny.. On my sites, the stuff that makes the most sales isn't FHGs. It's a method of teasing the surfer 100%... The FHGs are just there to keep them coming back every day... LOL.. go figure..

                                                                                          I always find it interesting though that some sponsors think they know how to make galleries. The reality is that, like most things, to do truly GOOD galleries is a skill. The guys that have been making good converting galleries for years could out sell almost everyone's FHGs.

                                                                                                  Weve experimented over the past 5 years with teasing etc, but with extreme stuff it just doesnt work. I have no expereince with non extreme stuff but I could imagine it may work better to tease in that case.
