    I had taken a little break and didn't realize Gary was exiled until right now.

    I like Gary, too. He understands irony. He has the ability to point out how stupid other people can be. He's paid attention to the board and to the various dramas taking place. Even though many of his 1000+ posts were non-sense, many of them were made with knowledge of the industry and the world in general.


    He who owns the board, makes the rules...but Gary has kept things from getting stale.

    We shall see....


    BTW...thanks AMP for taking a somewhat tactful approach with this petition. No matter what the outcome, it's interesting seeing the majority's point of view.

                                                We all may have our differences... and ultimately, we are all in competition with each other. Same as any other business. But are we all not also brothers and sisters in this business? Do we not look out for each other when this kind of stuff happens, regardless of what we may think about some random topic? Have we become THAT cutthroat?

                                                I used to be in the trucking industry... there is no other group of people that argue amongst themselves more than truckers. But if one of them is treated unfairly... ALL of them stand up for the guy. It's called comradery. I sure hope this business shares some of that... whether we are "boneprone" or not. Because who will be next? And who will stand up for that guy?

                                                No one asked me to do any of this. Gary is in bed right now sick as a dog with freakin' pneumonia or something. He never once asked me to say a damn word. It doesn't matter. He's not some "character"... he's a real guy. And he deserves to be backed up by his fellow webmasters/webmistresses. I would do the same for ANY of you if the situation were upon you instead. And I realize Lens may be busy with a million things, but I can't for a minute believe that he's so cold hearted as to not give a decent guy another chance. That just doesn't seem like Lensman's style.
