No argument there. I simply suggested that he might give Gary another chance, because I think the guy is funny. I know of place on the net (remaining unnamed) that banned people right and left just because they thought they weren't "cool" enough. Sometimes within seconds of them showing up. Now when ya go there, there's all of seven people that hang there. Every day. Because everyone else has been banned. It makes for a really boring place to hang... everyone in there has exactly the same opinion and take on everything that is brought up. Which is why I moved on and came here. I just think the harmless stuff from Gary, that obviously at least half the board did actually enjoy, didn't really warrant a banishment. I mean hell, Lens warned me about the sound files, and I not only stopped, but took out the one's I embedded. It was basically an example of audio overkill to make a point. But there's still other people putting audio into threads... and no one is getting banned for it. Same as there's still stupid comments and posts from other people... it wasn't just Gary.
Anyway, I'm not taking anything personally or anything, I know it's just a message board. I just think the whole thing sucks. Why not just spank him and give him a weeks worth of banishment or something to let it be known that it's time to chill a little, rather than be exiled to webmaster oblivion?
