The crappy thing is the nerve damage to your leg might have some permanent problems. If a girl sits on that leg it turns the shooting pains back on. Otherwise recovery is pretty cool after that.

Thank you so much. I am so glad I started this thread. I should have done it sooner, would have saved me from all that crying. lol Positive attitude is so important for surgery and I have always had one, but this time I am so scared. Now I feel a little better. You have no idea what your sharing has done to help me out. Thank you so much! It is so comforting knowing someone else who has done the same thing and is great and happy.
