Fleshlight Rebuild - Phase #1 Stats

Stats have been a major issue since Fleshlight came into the Adult Industry. Our current Affiliate program (OS Commerce) is a shopping cart, it is not programmed with Affiliates in mind.

There has been a concern that our stats have been innacurate and only showing referring URLs for sales made. This has been our MAIN focus

We looked into NATS and our feeling is that with a tangible product, it might be best to build our own.

Is there another alternative? What do you suggest?

In fixing what we have, which is top priority, we are already in the process of building one.

now I did pull my links about a week ago so I have had no traffic the past week, and I assume that "Division by zero" has something to do with me having zero hits because when I click on 30 Day View the error is no longer there

We have been testing out our cookie process this past week, which we finalized last friday. We will be getting into our cookie process soon. However, for the time being things are working well and the other referrals you see, are supposed to be there..

My first suggestion would be to ditch OSCommerce...ESPECIALLY if you are using it for affiliates. Like you said, OSC wasn't built with a strong affiliate module.

You can integrate a lot of other affiliate systems (NATS) into the site if you don't want to ditch OSCommerce. At least use OSC for your storefront and something else for affiliates.

Yes, if you initiated the sale first, then you as an affiliate will get credit for that, even if the surfer goes to another ad before purchasing....but, this is because of the cookie, which only has a life of 30 days.

Looks like you are correct. It is only spitting that error out because you have no stats. We have fixed the bug, so it should be working for everyone.

ok, I just logged into fleshlight and saw a referral from someone elses site too....i won't mention the site but I have sent them a screencap of the referral from their site in my stats
