I have PussyProfessor.com for sale. That should be worth at least 75k. If a site name that is as unappealing as "bookwormbitches" can be successful then I should make bank with the PussyProfessor.
I am entertaining offers...Earn up to $.03 per Visitor -> No Click Monetization!"Because the World Wide Web is all about two things: horrifyingly stupid psychodrama, and naked chicks."

Joe, I cant believe you sold CollegeSucks for 10k!!! Anyways, here is my "amen" post to Joe. A lot of people think that just because a domain has a nice ring to it or contains a popular term that it should pull 5 digit or more prices.
Put some work into the domain and get some decent traffic. If you had posted that and included an Alexa rank in the top 50k, no one would probably said a thing about your price because then it would be worth it.Sig is on vacation... (I wish I could vacation as long as my sig has...)Comment

That's a lot more than what you'll get. My domain had traffic, yours doesn't.Comment

I have returned from the year 2050 to tell you that you're shitty name still hasn't sold for $50,000 even with all the inflation.Originally posted by DaddyHalbucksThanks for your opinion. I haven't heard of too many aftermarket sales of domains containing the word "SUCKS." Nor have I heard of many products being successfully branded as "SUCKS" products. So you appear to have done well. I am sure the traffic was key.
But, traffic is not the only factor in a good name.
Highly brandable names have value, and there is lots of sales data to back that up.Do you wanna ride, in the backseat of my Delorean...Comment

For the thousandth time, traffic is not the only way to value a domain name.
Who really wants to run a business by the name of "SUCKS?" That's about the most unbrandable name imaginable!Comment

This is PORN, no one gives a fuck. What are you, republican?Comment

Here is what we do know....
1) Hal has a daddy fetish. Anyone want to be his daddy?
2) The rules of porn don't apply to any site, including go fuck yourself, and that if it doesn't work in mainstream, it wont work at all.
3) California Coeds will still not be worth $50K in the year 2050.Comment

Correct --in a perfect market where all buyers and sellers have perfect information. But, outside of college economics class, how many of those do you see in the real world? Not eBay for domains, and certainly not GFY.Originally posted by beemksupply and demand doesnt lie.Comment

so based of 1.00 you sold for 1k? 3.95 would only be 3.95k. last time I checked, neither of those are anywhere near 50k.
although, I'm skeptical that you were able to get 1k, but if you managed to convince the buyer that a no traffic non-branded domain with very few typeins was worth something more than the registration fees, then can I have their address? I have some beach front property in North Dakota that I would love to sell. thanks!

And $1 x 10 x 10 x 10 isn't $5000 either. I feel sorry for the dumbass to paid that much. Maybe we should all send him an email laughing, or maybe sell him some of my $1 domains.Comment

Why don't you rent out your brain to him for $500/ hr.
A genius like you is easily worth that.

Nah, but I still have FloridaCoeds.com --and it is a very kickin' name.Originally posted by TabooFunny thread. Congrats on the sale. Don't you have "COEDS" domains for every state?
It has more Overture search results for the keywords, and the domain is shorter than the Cali name too.Comment

Pretty close!
Acquisition cost was $60.
So, I got 83X my money, in a little over two months.
On an annualized basis, yes, it is damn close to 50,000%.

It's hard enough sometimes to sell good 2 word names.
The nurse names are OK, maybe a few hundred each?
I would say the others are not worth the reg fees, sorry.Comment
