I had 3 taken out in one visit, and my boss at the time wouldnt even cut me 1 iota of slack. It was his precious fucking day off and he GRUDGINGLY worked until 10am when I got there. All 4? I had that done in the late 80's and it was bloody aweful. Everyone's experience seems to be different with this, but mine was pretty bad. Blood ended up pooling down in both sides of my jaw, and my face blew up like a chipmunk holding his breath. I was in severe pain for weeks, and it took over 3 weeks for the swelling to go down. I used up a lot of sick time that month, needless to say. Went through a ton of T-3's, which somewhat eased the pain but also bunged me up something aweful. I tell you it was pure misery.

Had one out last week, and they couldnt get the root. Was supposed to goto an oral surgeon today to get the rest out, but really isnt bugging me much, and I have too much going on this week to be medicated again. The pills they had me on just wiped me out and made me worthless. Still taking some pain pills, but just taking them before bedtime the last 2 days. I went to an oral surgeon in Yorkville and had a really good experience. I took T-3s once the day of and by the next day was eating solid foods. Had them all taken out too. Didn't feel a thing when it was happening...woke up and it was done.

Had mine pulled out a few weeks ago. It ofcourse depends on how bad they grew out, but it didn't hurt that much. After the first day you won't feel much.
One thing tho... I wouldn't recommend smoking weed, only makes it worse. Good luck!Comment

i had all 4 taken out at once too, 3 of them weren't even out yet... they dug them up and take them out. Local anesthetic only. Had no pain afterwards, a surprisingly easy recovery!Comment
