wow, that's quite the story! Sounds like something out of a movie.
I really don't expect you'll get any trolls/haters out of that, no matter what board you post it on. It's truly inspirational and under those circumstances, I must say that I don't blame you one bit for doing what you're doing.
It's terrible that your friend died, that his life ended up the way it did. But it sounds like he didn't waste it and certainly knew what he was talking about, even in his last few seconds.
