So was i, and although many people have said Dreamhost are crap, somebody on here (thanks very much to you) was saying how you can get $97 off with the coupon code: GOFUCKYOURSELF.
Last night, i decided to give it a try, as it looks to be a very good package, and with the $97 discount and free domain, looked to be damn good value - even if the servers are supposedly crap.
Basically, i am damn impressed. For $22 (using the coupon) per year i've got a domain name and a year's worth of hosting with far too much disk space and bandwidth. They set it up in no time, had the domain registered and ready to go in less than an hour and seem to be a helpful host - and even if they do turn out to be crap, i've still got the domain for less than you can get it at quite a few places (although obviously NameCheap, GoDaddy etc. are cheaper, but they don't give you any hosting with said domain) and should be able to transfer it out.
So what am i trying to say here? Well, even though i don't work for Dreamhost, if you are short of a few bob (like me and the cheapskate i am) and want to start up in adult, get yourself down there with the coupon "GOFUCKYOURSELF" - you can get a site and domain for a year for less than $23.
P.S.: Thanks again to whoever made that coupon - being $97 better off sure does feel mighty fine.
