    Whats your guys opinions on talons?

    hey guys,

    sorry for off topic question... I'm probaly gona buy an eagle talon this week..

    I wanna know what ya guys think of em..

    the one im looking at is ,

    98 eagle talon ESI /Black / 44,000 kms / Mint condition / power everything

    I know its ESI and not TSI..

    But there is no tsis for sale in my area.. and if they are, theyre like red or puke green. hehe : )


    what ya gusy think good car? for the price?

      Actually, i don't have an opinion on talons. However, i am hoping to one day have an opinion on talons.

              I think eagles need their talons for catching food. I know it's illegal in most parts to use eagle feathers.

                          A friend of mine has one .... they are sweet, but be prepared when something breaks on them ... NOBODY stocks parts for them ... everything is on backorder, or you have to order special, which always involves paying UPFRONT for the parts, and then having to wait for then to come ... and then be installed ... that is the ONLY regret he has.

                          He is probably going to buy a Integra soon, mainly for that reason ...

                                  Talon are great.. but I would rather get an Eclipse. I, myself also own an Talon 95. I did alot of work to it, body kit, rims, decals, custom interior, system... etc...

                                                                                              Lots of Japanese imports have problem with
                                                                                              timming belts.That's why they recommend changing them after 80 or 100 000 km.
                                                                                              Sometimes it costs a lot $.
                                                                                              If timming belt goes in Eagle Talon
                                                                                              you may as well say by to the engine.
                                                                                              If the timing belt goes in shity Ford Escort
                                                                                              shit happens.Just put a new one there.

                                                                                                          Spent all last year goin' through it, one bolt at a time... fully tweaked. It's primed and ready... but sadly now, it just sits there lookin' all shiny and sweet and that's about it. I actually only drive it about once every three or four months. But when I do... hehehe... pure speed baby.

There's ONE, only one of them in my area, I know the owner (some nutty old man). Anyway, the car has been parked for 5yrs now, gets rustier by day (it's between an apricot tree and a garage (not in the garage, inside is a LADA )..
                                                                                                                                  He would sell it for some small price, but I'm not sure if it's a good car, and if it's worth rebuilding..
