Fleshlight: I would like to address your concerns........

Affiliates, Webmasters and GFY:

I'd like to clear up some issues that have come up, as well as update you about our program, Fleshlight.

Let me start by saying that while Fleshlight is a fantastic product there are still some things that we,
as a young affiliate program are finding out.

Part of fixing some of the current bugs required putting together a team of folks with a winning attitude
and that wanted to be part of a successful company. We have had done a lot of restructuring which is what brought
me into my new positiion with this company. We are working night and day to bring you the type of affiliate program
that has a brand you can trust.

I did not mean to arouse suspicions about my character by attending the Toronto Webmaster Access show, I think everyone here
will testify that I am working very hard, and our talented team is back in Texas working to fix everything
that has been addressed recently on GFY.

I look forward to continuing to work with ALL of you and hope that you will contact me on ICQ or email with any other questions
or concerns that you may have concerning Fleshlight and its affiliate program.

I just think this is his real personality coming out. He couldn't be a fucking douche on GFY (aside from closing and deleting buddies threads, etc etc obviously) because he was employed by adult.com. Lensman was probably happy as piss to get rid of the guy, but was afraid he might burn down his house again and post it on GFY so he could get another new car so kept him around letting him spam Fleshlight daily until he left on his own.

Who knows though, maybe he is a "top notch bro" after all.

Again.. who the fuck are you? Ramos clearly just addressed the concerns and gave direct lines of contact for any affiliates that have further questions.

Imo some of the people who are bashing have no idea what is involved in trying to re-establish a program while it is still running. Anyone who seems to think this is a task that can be accomplish in a short amount of time shows how clueless they really are. I know that Ramos, and the fleshlight staff are working as quickly as possible to get up the new affiliate and sales program.

Though Im sure many of you would like to see the new program done half assed and have issues so you can then hate and bash somemore.

I actually will be adding way more links than I had. Im happy to hear that the new affiliate program is underway and should be completed as quickly as its possible. This can only help the affiliates who push their products. Of course we could have them wasting time fixing errors on a system that will soon be scrapped for the new one..... You're right that sounds like a better idea...

No offense since I dont know you, but you signed up this month and start attacking someone you dont know, about an issue you are even less informed about. To me that reaks of suspicion, and I would guess there is and alternate reason for the haterade attitude you have been giving off.

I have to catch my plane so Ill check back on these threads later. I can however ASSURE YOU that having talked to Ramos extensively about everything they are on top of this, and they are redoing the whole program from scratch. The previous system used oscommerce as a backend, and I can tell you I know all about that nightmare. The new system will be much more streamlined and suited to both sales, and affiliates. The oscommerce affiliate system is more of an add on then it is intergrated to do what it does. I love drama as much as everyone else, but all of this is totally undeserved. He has only been in his position a few short weeks. Give him time to get the new system launched before bitching.

If the system is so sub-par and it still needs so much work, why continue marketing it so hard? That makes no sense. Market a non-working product to people (affiliates) and they're going to be pissed, rightfully so.

A relaunch would be a damned good idea - FleshLight2 - chuck in a few comps and a GFY skin and it all starts to look a lot healthier.

Ramos, I know that your happy-go-lucky attitude on GFY is what made you so popular (aside from your good ole' boy moderator attitude when regarding threads attacking your boys) but now you are a rep for a company, a young company and your asshat attitude has really stirred the pot. When concerned affiliated started threads as their last resort you replied with bullshit comments that made them into jokes. These were/are legitimate concerns but you still approached them with the same mentality as when you were a MOD on GFY and with Adult.com. You joked, made a fucked up comment and thought the roar of laughter would drown out the problems. Life doesn't work that way my friend.

I do applaud you for this thread but my friend, I think its a day late and a dollar short. You could and should have addressed all of the issues in a professional manner in the first place rather than turning it all into one big joke. Once again, you have to know what is appropriate for your position (the term "Know your Role" comes to mind) and when you were with Adult.com your jovial attitude was admired by many. Now you're coming off as a clown dangling from your spiderweb thin shred of credibility. It's not looking good for you or for Fleshlight. For what it's worth, they should cut their losses and understand that they fucked up by bringing you on board. I have never seen one single person give a company such a bad rep in such a short amount of time since Lee Iacocca.

Good luck trying to get your credibility back but you have to understand that now you're fighting an uphill battle. Credibility is the hardest thing to earn but the easiest to lose.

Its not currently open to new signups. The marketing doesnt stop just because they are redoing the program. Plane was delayed by 20 mins or so so had time to make a few more posts.

I beg to differ. One of the most destructive things for a company is poor planning and this entire ordeal has poor planning written all over it.

Why market and promote the fuck out of something if it doesn't work? That's like spending $10,000 for a local cable television commercial to sell your Le Car that's on block in your front yard worth $50 in scrap metal.
