PUT IT ALL .. on RED .. or BLACK?

I live in Connecticut, home of both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino .. huge, beautiful casinos.

I'm going to put a bunch of cash on JUST ONE SPIN of the wheel -- RED or BLACK.

Does anyone want to "go in" on the pot, and make it bigger? Or does anyone want to go WITH me to the casino (sneaking in a hidden camera so we can post the results on GFY would be cool, too)?

Taking suggestions on RED or BLACK, too -- or should I do ODD/EVEN?

Use the Martingale betting system.

Keep a cyanide pill handy for when it goes wrong. If you think it'll work for you, or that you can predict streaks, then *thumbs up*. Go for it.

It's just a "fun" time -- it's not about craps versus roulette, it isn't about streaks versus "due" versus odds .. it's something cool to do with a wad of cash!

Anyone up for the trip? Let's say $10,000 minimum to plunk down on a RED/BLACK, you have to do it the same spin I do, but I wouldn't begrudge you picking the opposite color ...

Of course, he also worked out a deal with them that they'd allow a "respin" in the event of a double-zero.

And, for the record, each spin is an independant action... you can believe in streaks, the position of the stars, or your lucky bunny's foot all you want... the hard fact: every spin is, roughly, a 45% chance at a win (for black/red - odd/even bets) - regardless of where the ball landed on the spin or spins previous.

That's fucking crazy.

I've been addicted to roulette lately. One bet i have been doing alot lately has been (say i had $200). Sticking $100 on the middle 12, and $100 on the last 12.

You don't win an awful lot doing it, but you have 2/3 of a chance of winning something each time, so you are often up some money anyway...

but if you do this your foolish even if you were to win....
The odds are exactly the same for both colors (black and red)
Not to mention it could always land on green and leave you looking like a doo doo bird (aka dummy)

The point is to do just ONE massive bet. Either it goes my way, or it doesn't.

It's not about getting the "money" from it -- it's immaterial whether I win or lose ... it's about the thrill of having $10,000+ on a single spin.

I think you're missing the point, haha. Win or lose isn't the point. The money doesn't matter -- it's "money to burn" -- the point is the fun of seeing how much can go on one spin, versus spreading it around.

It'd be boring by myself .. looking to get a group going. Do $10,000 each, see if we can get a few people ... it'd be fun. Maybe give the winnings to charity, if there were some ...
