thats absolutely ridiculous.
there may be some cases where this is the case, but that is just a byproduct of the process.
the reason they are being held is because it takes time to thoroughly investigate links and gather information for 1 reason only.. to protect this country from future terroristic acts.
if you would rather let them go free prematurely and hope they had nothing to do with anything, you are putting our nation at risk when it could be prevented.
when it comes to a matter of national security i do not give a shit about holding "suspects" indefinitely until they are proven to be innocent

Yeah, the majority of the people are law abiding citizens, doing nothing wrong. If it's 1000's or 100's, it's like 60% or more are innocent, straight up kidnapped people.
Nothing wrong with holding them, but give them a military trial so due process can be upheld. Doing this would have stopped the snatching of innocent people early on.
You do understand that, we are doing exactly what we are fighting against?
National security.. again, 30 times now? This change is a good thing, it made us safer. Less people will continue to hate us, we should not stoop the terrorist level and act like terrorist ourselves. We should stand tall, lead by example.. We want the world to think we are strong and noble.. something we have lost since bush took us to war.
