I bought it when I moved here so a little over 7 years. It was only $200. I went around Office Max and sat in every chair until I found one I was comfortable in. This was after trying 2 different expensive chairs and sending them back (that popular one from Herman Miller and one from Relax the Back or whatever that store is called). I love it
