Canadian border just denied me

they put me aside after asking me some questions and searched my car. then they opened my laptop and noticed that i had a bunch of porn pictures on there. looked through it for a long time then confiscated it and said they had to send it to get it examined. i dont have anything illegal so im not worried. then the immigration guy said they they couldnt let me in because i have a misdemeanor from 3 years ago.

this ever happen to anyone else?

Uhm. They confiscated your laptop? I don't think they can do that.

I think they prolly just took it home to jackoff to. I wouldn't hold my breath gettin it back if I were you.

Seriously though, you shoulda fought that laptop shit and gone back to the USA. Canada Customs is notorious for stealing shit. I have had a few friends have stuff like cell phones and PDAs just taken by customs officials because they have more authority than the cops...

Did you get the names of the officers you were dealing with?

I always make my porn folders invisible, and in XP I selects do not show hidden files. Of course when they know this trick they still can find it. However, last time they just browsed through my laptop, and didn't change this setting//

i get searched by Australian customs and immigration all the fukin time... 9 out of the last 11 trips... they even looked up my arse a few times... even my doctor doesn't bother with that... lucky i wax it real good..

but i keep all my shit on portable drives and back it up... there is never anything on my laptop.. not even my name.. this is a good tip..portable drives are cheap..80gig..each..big as a packet of cigs..

by the way i'm an aussie.. they are are the only hahahahas who search me anywhere.. and always on the way back in.. if i was an arab with 40lbs of semtex they would kiss my arse instead of search it...

Thats fucked up. What were the surfing around folders on your laptop for? The only thing I've ever had to do at customs with my laptop was prove that it was a working laptop and would fire up and load in to the OS.
