    A lady friend of mine is looking for some work

    ...She has applied to post on this board but it has not been approved by a mod as of yet...so she asked me to post the following.






    I will split by duration (10 seconds---1 minute etc.) and convert your videos to .flv format for .20 cents per finished minute of play time.

    In other words if you send me videos that have 60 minutes of play time the cost to you for me to convert them to .flv format is $12.00/.20 cents per minute.

    If you also want the original videos split by duration the cost will be double, or the original video will remain the same as you sent in to me.

    I will expect payment after I complete the project for you in the form of a money order. I will not accept checks or CC's or payment other than by money order.

    If you have a project for me to do, in the E-mail provide the following information.

    Duration of .flv's

    Crop size.

    Bitrate 128---256---512 etc.

    Do you want the orginal video split by duration also?

    A link to download your videos. When I complete the project I will provide you a link to download a zip file with your completed project and orginal videos.

                                                      Video software uses alot of the power of your computer and if you have a thousand different videos of various play times...yes they have to be attended to. Video services are provided to people where time is money to them and not to those without money but plenty of time. If one wants to spend their time processing videos then so be it.

                                                                  Something stinks in Denmark here.

                                                                  Oh and 12.00 per hour of video is lol. Ok assuming it does take up PC resources it would only take a small amount of video work to justify the purchase of a separate machine. Hell since it is just cutting, hooking up a separate machine would be super cheap as you do not even need a good monitor etc.

                                                                          BTW, you might want to suggest that your lady friend opens an epass account. Might be a little difficult for someone in EU or AU etc to send a money order.

                                                                                  In my case I have both money and time so I process my videos myself...even though I find it to be a very boring job it keeps me occupied when I choose to be.

                                                                                                                                                                                      I don't know but video editing is so complicated (much like rocket science) I am pretty sure that it is way beyond the mental and physical ability of the average woman. Cutting and converting is also very complicated and strenuous.
