i think the difference is that Toyota created the word "Lexus" which is similar to "lexis" short to alexis. but I think because of the different spelling, they've totally created it. Its not like using mercedes, which was a name before it was used for the car company (I've always heard the story that one of the founders of mercedes-benz, used the mercedes name after his daughter)

either way, dont you think its kind of tacky to name something Lexus Cash? hehe, reminds me of the kanye west song goldigger. "She couldnt afford a car, so she named her daughter lexus"

I dealt with the Lexus attorneys for neary 14 months, they're really stupid about it, but they want to protect their name and all derivations. It would not shock me if they went to court over it. It's definitely not worth it.

We got that same letter because we were silly enough to register LexusXXX.com. We shot a girl named Lexus (she even has it tattooed on her butt). see pic below.

After talking to Toyota, we changed the site to www.4RealTeen.com because we didn't want to fight them. (They have more time and money. lol)

Why is fighting Toyota harder than any other court case? This type of case is pretty much a set cost. And Toyota has no grounds with this case, they would probably settle if a real fight was started.

LexusCash is in the right, they are not using the Lexus Brand, they aren't in the same business, and no reasonable person would confuse the two.

I'm sure any dumbass would know this though.
