Peter, I'm also just getting started. My current setup is Hosthead for the brains, and Dreamhost for the cheap bandwidth. I put the TGP brains (comus) and all the html at Hosthead, and sync the thumbs over to DH. About 85% of bandwidth is served from DH

Found that hosthead has a lot of clue, and their network is nice and speedy. They're inexpensive, but not as cheap as DH - not by a mile.

I just couldn't get comus to run on DH. Thats why I ended up at Hosthead.

For $20 a month between them, I should be able to hit 100k/day on my TGPs, or very close to it.

$10 for DH - 1TB of bandwidth. Insane amounts for $10.
$10 for HH - 30GB of bandwidth. Great network, very helpful support.

As with all things, your mileage may vary

Thanks for all your reactions.
I have contacted my host and they did a test with as result the site is loading on good speed.
I have compared my site with some other sites using "tracert" and the results where very positive for Sinfulstudents.com
Tracert is tracing loadingspeed from max 30 hops in the net.
U can use it from the command promt. tracert <domain-name>

From my place the site is loading fine at this moment.
Maybe you can try it once again. Probebly there was a problem somewhere in the network at that time.
If it is still slow loading from your place please let me know in which area you live.

I have been reading here alot and came around this post i was amazed at the web design and how neatly the movies are arranged.I decided to sign up and finnaly start posting to ask question + comment on this website. I myself want to do something similar MPG and TPG in the near future and will contact designperfection for a website (their prices are reasonable too).

Desing Perfect did a goog job for you.

It is slow on my side to, you should open the thumbnails on a blank page at least if people closes their browser your page will still be there.
