My tip for new webmasters, at least those with pay sites (and I realize that there aren't many of those), is to stay on review sites. Find out what the minimum time is that must pass before they will do an update, mark it down in your calendar and request an update ASAP. It will mean more traffic, at least in our case, over the long-run.
