    WTF - I had TWO VX2100's shit out on me in 3 weeks!!!!

    Unreal.

    I should have known this 2nd one was about to die when it stopped showing the battery info. I thought I had just hit something by mistake and couldn't figure out what it was but tonight.... dead as a fuckin' door nail.

    That makes TWO in 3 weeks.

              Funny you should ask that. Probably Japan.

              There is a place in Bangkok but I have never been able to reach anyone on the phone there. At least Sony told me this was the place to call.

                      You can bet your ass it was. My Nikon says it was built in Thailand yet they only have ONE authorized Nikon repair shop in the entire country and it takes up to a month to get your camera back. LOL

                              you have several SONY official repair centers around bangkok , there is one very efficient on petchburi road. otherwise you can get almost anything repaired on the ground floor of panthip , just go all the way on the right ... ( there is the same kind of repair shop at fortune center in ratchada too.

                                          Seems mine might be shitting out on me too. Fucking sucks. Just got it back from my extended warranty provider. Anyway, I feel for ya. I'm sure enjoying my non-tape AVCHD camera more and more as my DV cameras keep fucking up.
