I'm on the fence on this one.

Going by only what I can see on that video, I agree, the boy was out of line. No doubt about it.

But something tells me that the mother would not have been a candiate for any mother of the year awards in the first place.

By and large, I'm pretty old school when it comes to expectations about my boys' behavior. But I don't think you can overlook the fact that this boy learned his face slapping and shut-upping somewhere.

I'd call this one as a parent not doing her job right in the first place, and him being a reflection of her reaping what she has sown.
