    Be careful when you buy from UBID.com

    I thought i picked up a great deal when i won a bid on a toshiba hdtv projector from a "ubid preferred partner"

    Never got my projector.
    Got my CC statement today..
    They charged my card the 2800 for the 'winning bid'

    and then they charged 4999$ to 'firepay.com' out of london. Almost shit my pants when i opened up that bill.

    gotta love mastercard, they took care of everything, but it was still a pain in the asssss!

    So yea.. um be careful when you deal with those "preferred partners" over @ ubid.

              i usually stay away from the prefered partners ,,,i was happy with them,,,

              i thought i got a sweet deal on a PC for under 125....

              but the damn fuckers charged me $50.00 for shipping,,, and i only live 5 hours away from their warehouse!!!

              i guess thats how they make their money

                                  I had a MasterCard That I Only used to pay for my web-hosting every month, then some how 700$ showed up to firepay.com also..
                                  hmmm.. MC took care of it though..

                                          i once got screwed from using my credit cread online. I got a bill, while I was out of town for a month, that my balance was in the negative.

                                          And they never fixed the problem, however, someone in New Jersey was using my card!!

                                          Now, I will never buy anything online agian!!! (make only reservatiions ...unless a CC is needed)
