    buying a bike from the states (need info)

    trying to buy a bike from the states, atv to be exact. the guy agreed to deliver it to my house to make the sale since he don't live to far away.

    but what is involved with buying the bike from the states, do I have to pay taxes on it, how do i get ownership etc.

    anyone know these steps..

    I'd like to think I can just buy it and use it.

              What country do you live in? If you live out of the states you may have some import taxes for sure.

                          Is there titles with regards to ATV's? If there is, then I'm sure some sort of imposed fee would be charged.

                          Besides that, I dont see how this purchase couldnt be made under the table completely
