Bush Forgets About Canada In Speech

Maybe it's because he's got his head stuck so far up the UK's ass right now he just forgot..lol.. No serious I'm just wondering why he would mention every towel head country that hasn't done shit to help out but, doesn't remember your neighbors to the North and all that we have done..

Maybe he's upset with Canada, like some other United States citicens are:
    http://go.msn.com/0012/5/9.asp?targe.../20/town010920

I have no idea what the broadcast said, the only clue this article states is:

"Most in the audience expressed sympathy for lives lost in the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington. But the discussion and debate also dealt with such matters as the need for concrete evidence before the United States begins bombing anyone. Many in the audience urged caution and responses other than military strikes, for which they were loudly applauded."

So people in the US are mad at Canada for that? For suggestion that they find some evidence before bombing everyong in sight? The suggestion makes sense to me, what are those people on? You can't just bomb people because you think it's someone. Personally, I wish those fucking primates were bombed off of the face of the Earth, and that the planet would be better off without them, but that's not the 'right' way of doing things, and people are mad at Canada for trying to be slightly reasonable.

(Oh yeah, almost as a side note, the article, at the very end says:

"The majority of e-mails Americans have sent to CBC News Online since the events of September11th have expressed appreciation of Canada and its assistance in the wake of the attacks."

Well, of course, you idiots, there will always be a few people who disagree with someone no matter how right they are)

I would like to point out that I'm smart enough to realize the article is bullshit, and is only speaking of a few people. I replied just for a joke, only. ok?

But any thoughts on this ridiculous article?

I just hope that anyone who reads this article also reads all the letters attached to it. The reactions of Canadians in their letters to the ridiculous CBC program speaks the truth of how we feel. Our hearts are bleeding for our American friends. CBC needs to apologize for their totally unrealistic program.

I will be behind Bush if he does something reasonable and not pander to the extremists who want nothing but all out warfare.

It is a land that is covered in snow where we all live in igloos and hunt seals.

              We have 4 seasons here:
Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Road Construction.

and Road Construction... dog sleds need roads? Curious. *Best Spock Voice*

Technically speaking Bush left out lots of countries that have helped or are offering help. Saddam himself has offered 'humaniatarian' aid if we'd ask him for it. Sounded as if he meant to catch terrorists type since they have skills... rolling eyes...

As to Bush, he'd still be on the podium if he were to try and mention every country and what they have done, are doing or promised to do. Have to give the guy an A for a good speech compared to his other ones. I hope that some aren't offended that he didn't speak on carpet bombing and 'glassing countries' etc. He spoke the true feelings of the majority. Get the guys that did it, get their men, and get any other group that harbors these ideas and performs these same things. There are undoubtedly other such groups formed that have not reared their heads and more forming.

And not all will be Middle Eastern. Knowing greed for what it is, has ANY one thought of how many others not of the Muslim faith or attached in any way, that are helping for profit? You *know* they are out there.

It's a good thing you know that he did not include Canada, because this country is the #1 in the world for the standard of living and quality of life, it is the most respected country in the world. Show your Canadian passport anywhere in the world, and people will open their arms and welcome you warmly, in every country.

I mean look at it this way, even if we are the northern neighbors of the United-States, we don't share the same views of the world as our neighbors. The best exemple of this is how Canada maintained his political relationship with Cuba over the last 40 years, despite the american though line, we were always able to make our own decisions and policy.

Our Blue_Hats (PeaceKeepers) are always seen as that and welcome everywhere, contrary to britain or the United-States ones, who are seen as an occupation force most of the time.

Just look at the parliament debate we started having this week, everyone is ready to work with the USA to fight terrorist, but we are willing to work through the United-Nations security council and international law, like in Iraq for instance.

All in all, it's good for our country, it gives us more room to continu to work for peace in the rest of the world.

Hmmmm, well our Prime Minister has been pretty weak about this whole thing. Sure he's said some of the right things, but he's only strong when choking out protesters on Canada Day, he's looking weak in this one.

                                    You wanna hear weak;

PM of Canada decides, when he goes to the states this coming week, that he isn't going to ground zero in NYC

If I was living in Ottawa right now, I'd go kick his ass and make him go

along with a few other ass kissers of illegal immigrants

One thing is if he does that, it will ensure most canadians will vote him out next election!!
