    If porn quit tomorrow, would you be ok???

    I have been selling porn for 6 years next month. And it has been great! Living like a rockstar! ok or as much as a guy who grew up in the midwest and started doing well at middle age and after a divorce can.

    I have traveled, married and divorced the wrong women, bought stupid cars and made dumb investments etc... And i was noticing that if it all quit tomorrow I would be fine. I should be in a lot better shape. Less stories and more cash but wtf!

    Thanks porn and looking forward to another great 6 years!



    Edit: had to use the GFY join date to figure out how long I have been selling porn. I was off by one hehe

              I'm 25, and I haven't saved enough to retire yet.

              But this discussion is very relative, I mean, I wouldn't be happy to retire unless I had $10 million in cash, some people might be happy with $100k......

                  It really depends on how you live your life. I work and save as much as I can, so that when I make a bigger investment I dont have to finance any of it.

                                          Wasn't saying I had reached my financial goals and was bailing. I was surprised that I could live on my mainstream income. And Rio is not a cheap town. ;)

                                                                      Not what I meant at all. It was more if your SEO network dried up or your paysite went belly up for whatever reason. Tube sites, laws and competition can close down any one business. Yes you could always change how you profit from porn. Just since a big chunk of us work for ourselves we need one eye on the future.

                                                                              A while ago I worked out that if I pulled the plug today (like, cut all expenses back to nothing except a cheap host) I'd actually the most profitable 12 months I've ever had. From then on I'd still make a pretty nice income for years to come. Stuff like that helps me sleep at night

                                                                              If porn quite on me, not sure what I'd do. I'd be pretty happy to be doing something new. Probably trade futures and forex full-time. I dabble in it ATM and mostly enjoy it more than webmastering.
