Anyone ever receive a check and it didnt have your last name on it??

    Anyone ever receive a check and it didnt have your last name on it??

    If so, did you attempt to cash it? Did your bank tell you to fuck off when you tried? Or did you just ask for a new check?

    I received one today with just my first name on it lol. I double checked the online info and it says to payout in first and last name.

    Is it even worth trying to cash it?

              I have had it a few time over the years,,,Just deposit it at the ATM it will be ok,,,the bank has other things to do the bother with that

                      I'd write my last name on it and deposit it, probably want to make extra sure the cheque was actually mine though.

                          It has my first name and my address on it..just no last name.

                                          They'll deposit it. Just stick it in with the little $20-$100 checks we all get stacks of and they will never notice.

                                              just put your name on it and with ID it should be ok.
