Yup it is gobbled, chewed, then spit out in a totally unrecognizable format and not spit into some alternate universe or something. It does not undo quantum physics and thus no more black hole information paradox.
Assuming climate issues, Earth issues, or intergalactic ones do not take us out. Right next to a full on nuke battle, the most likely culprit that will be our downfall are computers. However they are rising up the list more and more. As it stands we want to be able to take the joy stick out of soldiers hands as soon as possible. Once a computer gets any real intellectual thought processes I along with many others feel we are fucked. Oh well though as it will happen.
