I think people who try and downplay a racist ideology arent any better than those spewing it. also, please stop using the "black church" excuse as a pass for racism. ive been to SEVERAL and not once did i hear the pastor belittle or demean an entire race. for all being "gods children", wright sure has a hatred and lack of respect for anyone outside his race. i guess because someone is white, in his eyes, they're destine to oppress the black man. that hate speech might be common in your church, but for any sane person, racial intolerance has no other name, no excuse, and no place in our society. maybe if you werent so subjective you'd see that someone held in such high esteem, as a preacher always is, has a profound effect on his "flock", often providing a foundation for their view points. honestly, do you think the government injected aids into the black community? if not, do you think its ok to have someone in his position teaching children that their government created aids to kill them? ive got an idea! lets get a transcript of wrights sermon and replace "BLACK" with "WHITE" and see how those words in that context compute in your racism calculator.
