and the democrats, including hillary, promised to lower gas prices if they were given majority in 06. they've gone up quite a bit since then and they arent doing anything to help. in fact, they are now saying that high prices are GOOD because they force people to look for alternatives getting us off our "addiction foreign oil". just goes to show you that politicians will say and do whatever appeases the most people on any given day to obtain and keep power so expecting the truth from them is idiotic.
