Will be an interesting fight, no doubt. Kinda reminds me of when Holyfield made the jump to heavyweight. Jones is just as skilled (or more) as Holyfield was, but I'm hoping he can take a heavyweight punch.

Jesus, my grandmother could get in a good shot on Holyfield.
although I'm uncertain of Jones at the heavier weight class, my money would still go on him...
If he can keep even half of his speed and rhythm from his previous weight he'll have him down at least once before the 5th round...

Roy Jones hits hard and this is gonna be a real fight its about time! As far as the crying Ruiz I dont see it happening but who knows these are crazy times! Anyways if Jones loses Im gonna stop watching boxing for a minute.

My money is on Roy Jones.... he is the best boxer around right now and if he can make this move to heavyweight.. he is hands down one of the best boxers of all time.
I will watch the fight but expect something shady to go down cause don king is involved. Roy brings big money to the heavyweight division and really can't lose and with King involved i'm sure he won't!!!
Ruiz is a punk.... His only chance is to be his usual sloppy self and smother Jones, which he could possibly pull off. But Jones is diverse enough to handle just about anything once he gets his rhythm.

hell yeh!
that guy steps in the ring with full rhythm in force....shouldn't be a problem there unless the weight issue is something he's not totally comfortable with yet....
but I doubt that, seriously....he's the most skillful all around boxer around imo...

1. Ruiz is a Don King fighter
2. The ref sucks big ass. He will stop the fight as soon as Roy receives one big punch in a corner.
I still think Roy Jones *should* be able to beat this mediocre heavyweight champion, otherwise he wouldn't go in the ring. He's intelligent and knows exactly what he is doing.
But it will be a interesting fight...

wasn't holyfield a cruiserweight when he started? jones was a middleweight. he's making a huge jump.
