                                                                      They did taste it. There was another news story for this... they said several workers took home bottle because of the unique taste. They enjoyed it.

                                                                      And everyone else: the dead man didn't die in the barrel... he was already dead and his wife put him in the barrel to save on shipping him and to avoid paperwork. The rum preserved him for years.
