    Proud to be Swiss?

    Looks like a report in the news paper this morning, shows that Swiss Banks were handling the money for the Taliban

    I suppose money is money no matter how dirty it is- remind me not to buy any swiss watches

          On a news report last night, they said that is one of the problems. Offshore banks maintaining total secrecy. They are trying to get them all to cooperate better for the future, and Switzerland in particular is already beginning to change their ways somewhat. They don't want to be responsible for shit like this either.

          Switzerland is still cool. They were used by Bin Laden the same as our flight schools were. But they're doing things to fix it, the same as us.

                  Well, I believe the bulk of Bin Laden's cash came from his inheritance from his father. Another good chunk of it came from American insurance policies he took out on the heads of his suicide morons and subsequently cashed in on.

                  Do you have some sort of issue? Because you haven't made it very clear.

                          As Amp said a lot of his money came from his family. Also,large amounts come from growing drugs and then putting them into the Russian market in horrific numbers. So, I think it is safe to say you aren't Russian or you would know that.

                                      Under the guise of "neutrality" the Swiss have long been major beneficiaries of conflicts and problems throughout the world. They were so neutral that they collaborated financially with the Germands during WWII. So neutral that they have meade it easy for drug lords and mafia kingpins to launder money.

                                      This initial news report about Swiss assistance in hiding and moving bin laudin's money may or may not be true -- but it certainly would be consistent with their past behaviors.
