                                                          I'm no designer, but I know what converts.. and thats why I go into details whenever I need a designer.. they don't know every niche and what converts, they are there to make whatever clients need..

                                                                  Indeed. I guess I think things depend on what the individual doing the rankings is looking for from a design company so in the end they are only personal rankings. Even if I am confident we would be pretty high on most lists.

                                                                      How about a poll?

                                                                      Setup a poll on the board here. Create a thread for designers to submit themselves or be recommended. Then create a poll listing the designers with links to their sites or portfolios. Let it run on a continuous basis, resetting every month or so to give the new guys a chance to move up the list.

                                                                      I've been around a long time but am relatively new to this board and am not a "popular" designer. Nevertheless, it would be an effective way to have GFYers rate us. I'm sure that some politics would come into play, but that's what a community is all about, isn't it? lol

                                                                      Just my 2 cents.
