I used to be shy. The key is to remember that they all love the attention! (as long as you aren't a creepy dick about hitting on them)

I think the key to doing well with chicks is to stop thinking about any particular girl as "the one" until, well, she actually IS. In the past it's not at all uncommon for me to have had 3 girls on the go all at the same time, and I'm hardly what you'd call good looking. Because of their non-exclusivity, I wasn't in any way concerned whether I'd fuck things up with that one, because there were always others. Once that pressure is off, the world is your oyster.

I would advise dating as many girls at the same time as you can fit in to your schedule. Find them any way you can - the internet, at parties, in personals sections, dating agencies, whatever, who cares how you find them, there's no shame. Eventually, you'll reach a point where you're about to go out on a date that night with some chick you've hit up on an online dating site, but you're still pondering the details of the date the night before with some other chick. You'll realise "hey, I'm not nervous at ALL!", and you'll have won the game.

Oh, and if you're having problem converting these dates in to sex, you haven't applied enough alcohol. Seriously, alcohol has gotten me laid more than clever words, money and looks put together, ten fold. No trick is too low to get that first fuck in. Once you've fucked a girl once, you can nail her as many times as you want.

Drink some liquid courage.

Smile, look her in the eyes a little (buck up, you can do it), and ask her questions when the conversation lags. Remember what the cliteras says, "Chicks dig guys with confidence"

i have to test the waters first, i usually stay quiete and listen, learn what they are like, then determine what type of humour will work to make them smile etc, sometimes takes a bit.

I used to be pretty shy, say when I was 15 or so. Now that I'm not 'free', I can just chat with girls and be really relaxed with them since I have no desire to 'pick them up' or showoff or anything..and girls seem to like that.
