    Rumours are saying google are working on a google OS, how badass is that?

    I for one would gladly try it out, im sure it would be better than windows vista by a longshot.

          kinda old news, was mentioned about 3-4 weeks ago. they are trying to get dell to issue them with their products

                                                                              At this point it would take a Google to compete head-on with Microsoft. MS has a product offering that is very broad. Remember they have the colaboration market with Exchange. Database apps with MS-SQL. Look at the accounting industry for the smal to mid-sized firms, they own every player out there esp in accounting. The desktop and office apps belong to MS. There is Active Directory (Copied from Novell's NDS for the most part) and the list goes on and on.

                                                                                                                                                  The G-OS is being made because after integrating the google maps to the G-car where you could just sit in the car and write "pizza", after that it would automaticly take you to the nearest place where you can get a pizza.
                                                                                                                                                  The problems occurred after first testing the car with a linux OS, then the car would not accept any drivers into the car and refuse to drive, after that testing was done with windows, there the problem was that it accepted all drivers, and after a few test drives explorer stopped taking commands and started to lead you in wrong directions to eventually crash the car.

                                                                                                                                                                      It's a bundle of Internet apps: virus sofware (Norton, though .. yech), messenger, search tools, etc. Overall a decent offering but most people have the majority of it already.
