some hitbots can be set to d/l the entire page content, including the thumbs. I doubt if very many of them actually do this though, as it would go through an enormous amount of bandwidth (for the cheater). so you might have a good idea there

to me it seems cheater cant put www. infront of their domain in the url for some reason... all cheaters I boot out have no www. o.O

Such way proxies that don't load the thumbs (proxies are slow by what I know) AND surfers that don't have images on will not get count!

Pros/Cons?

its not that hard to code up a hitbot to load the thumb. Now loading the entire page worth of thumbs is a little more difficult. But at the same time, your tgp script now has to constantly check if a thumb was loaded by such and such an ip, quite an additional task to do.

Indeed quite an addition, but I balieve such feature can boost a script sales.
I don't know how many % of traffic is from cheaters, 1% of 100k TGP is 30K hits/month, and it is a lot of traffic.
