Don't fucking drive.
I work from home and more or less everything we need is within walking distance - Fast food, Target, Safeway, and two dozen other places. On top of this, if you force yourself to walk every time you want to eat you just say "Fuck it, I'll make myself a sandwich".
I sit here in my office usually till about midnight and my neighbors kill me. They have four cars, and I swear every half hour a car comes or leaves their house. Where the fuck are the fucking going?
Don't get me wrong. I think nothing of hopping in my car to go out with a few friends or to see a movie, but that's like once a week or so. I can't remember the last time I filled up with gas.
I feel sorry for everyone who drives to and from work every day. It's got to suck to be them. But perhaps it will make people figure out that they need to get a job closer to home, and need to stop running out to Wendy's every time they want some French fries.
