never could understand why they put music in porn movies , its pretty fucking pointless , ok maybe if its a soft backing track just to break it up a bit , but when you get editors/sound engineers , that put the volume up on the track so that it drowns out the sounds , that pisses me off

from the market research that i did , a good percentage of consumers don't like to hear music in a porno ,

on a side note , in pornos they also don't want to see the expression on the guys face when he blows , it's not something the consumer wants to see when they are jerking off then bang they flash to the guys face , totallly destroys the fourth wall

I think that totally depends on what market you're serving

In gay porn, that is actually something that our buyers tell us they really like about our videos... however, in straight porn, I can totally understand why it would be a major buzzkill.

On the music thing, I've never gotten it either. THe music generally sucks, and for me it's just a distraction. I know a lot of people who just hit the "mute" button.
