                THEY aren't saying keep a distance..... A judge....in some courthouse somewhere, is saying keep a distance. And so long as a judge is passing a law....aclu members will be there to make sure its constitutional. And if it impedes, it will be fought.

                There can't be exceptions to the rule. You just can't have it....its either constitutional or its not....period....there is no gray area.

                        The ACLU isnt fighting for the right to say what they want, the current law allows that. They can say whatever they want from 300 feet away.

                        The family members wont even be able to hear the funeral because a bunch of people are inthe background calling them pigs and telling them theire going to hell.

                        Who cares about the family members, right? They dont deserve a peaceful funeral

                            The constitution states that I should live with liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I think that my pursuit of happiness involves owning and stockpiling assault rifles. Excuse my terminology, but I believe these are the types of weapons that are illegal. Is this unconstitutional? If so, why can't I own them?

                                            because there have been amendments and laws passed that don't allow you to have these things. this is basically what is going on here. The constitution gives you freedom of speech but there are laws/test cases that puts limits on free speech. For example there are FCC laws the limit what I can put on the public airwaves. The constituion gives me freedom of speech, the laws enacted limit where/what exactly I can say.
