    REUTERS: Iran will hit Israel if US does "evil": agency

    TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will target Israel first if the United States does anything "evil", a senior commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday.

    The United States says it wants Iran's nuclear standoff with the West solved diplomatically but has refused to rule out military action.

    "We have announced that wherever America does something evil, the first place that we target will be Israel," Revolutionary Guards Rear Admiral Mohammad-Ebrahim Dehqani was quoted as saying by Iran's student news agency ISNA.

    The Islamic Republic has never recognized Israel and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the Jewish state to be "wiped off the map."

    Dehqani said naval wargames held in the Gulf last month "carried the warning to those countries that threaten Iran, including America and the Zionist regime".

    Experts said the wargames, in which Iran said it had tested new missiles and torpedoes, were a thinly veiled threat that it could disrupt vital Gulf oil shipping lanes if it was attacked.

                                      Not only does Iran has missile that can reach as far as southern Europe, but unlike Iraq, Iran is crazy enough to arm those missile with non-conventional warheads. If they do that, then we will find out about the veracity of the nuclear winter theory after Israel wipes Iran from the surface of the planet.

                                                      If we try to stop them getting nukes, we will be harmed.

                                                      But, a historically proven concept is that the earlier you deal with a problem, the less you suffer for it. It's like, if you discover cancer early enough, you can cut it out. You will suffer, but not nearly as much as if you don't cut it out until it is too late. So, the earlier we 'neutralise' the threat, the better.

                                                          They do not have nuclear weapons, so in that case they would fire biological weapons... which they probably have. If Israel respond with nuclear weapons we would all die anyway, so I think it would rather end with full-scale conventional war on Iran vs. allies.

                                                                  Can you prove they don't? Just because they haven't produced any nuclear capable devices does not mean they haven't purchased any nuclear devices from third parties.
