    My Pics of Cuba (Post-Castro)

    I was in Cuba 8 years ago and I did not really like it. But I returned this year and visited Holguin and this experience completely changed my mind.

    A couple of things have changed like they are allowed to purchase cellphones, DVD players and other electronics. They are now also allowed to purchase a room at the resorts. Some of the locals told me that in a couple of months, they will be allowed to get a passport and travel as well (if you can afford it that is).

                      Actually the first time I went to Cuba was Varadero and I did not like it at all. I think it was probably because of the hotel because everyone else loves it. The service was bad and the food was terrible. I think I lost 10 pounds on that trip

                                                                                                                  Actually I think Americans can go to Cuba but they have to go through Canada or Mexico first. Plus they do not stamp your passport when you get to Cuba but they staple a piece of paper to your passport so you can take it off anytime so that American security does not know you have been there.

                                                                                                                  Its a bit harder but its not impossible.

                                                                                                                                                                  Well it was an all inclusive resort so the food and booze was included. You can check for some good deals at these places. Also when we went into town, the prices are very cheap for everything except electronics.

                                                                                                                                                                          If you’re one of those that “can’t travel” to Cuba because big fucking daddy told you so (im one of those and I still don’t get it), you can go to Cancun and get a charter flight to Havana. From what I head, they don’t stamp American passports and give you insert.. You can just throw it out when you get back to Mexico. One of my friends that married a Canadian guy few to Montreal and flew from there for the wedding. I think frozen Mexicans are cool with it too..
