Applications received during Landrush are treated as received at the same time. If there is only one applicant for a domain, it will be allocated to that applicant from the 28th June 2008, there is no definitive date in which the allocation of domains will be completed. Once allocated the domain will be active and live in the applicant's members area at Domainmonster.com.
If there is more than one applicant for the same domain name, all applicants will be invited to bid for that domain in an auction. The highest bidder will get the domain name. Auctions will commence no earlier than 7 days following the end of Landrush on 26th June 2008. You will receive at least 7 days notice of your auction commencing, using the email contact listed for the domain name registrant.

On a related note, microsoft.me will likely be tossed out - though interestingly, Microsoft is not guaranteed to get it if someone else with standing also applies for it during the sunrise period. Even sunrise applications can go to auction.
To digress a bit, .ME rollout, like many others in the past, is optimized as a money grab - a few people will make a fortune while most folks will spend way more than they should for names of limited to no real use...
ccTLDs are governed by the rules and laws of the sponsoring country - that matters because they reserve the right to take away domains anytime for any reason...
And yes, that happens ... even in .US too, such as with my FuckCensorship.US domain registration which was accepted and resolved, but then was taken back, and is now in a state of perputial limbo.
Point is that ccTLDs come with extra risks, limitations, and even extra costs that many registrants aren't fully aware of...
Hopefully you paid with a credit card - most likely, if the registration doesn't go through, you'll automatically get your money back, but that's not a sure thing for various reasons. You may want to contact your registrar to determine their policies regarding the .ME rollout.
