    Why do advertisers here feel the need to annoy webmasters?

    I'm so fucking sick of these god damn flash banners on this site that make noise or flash like a fucking strobe light. News flash.. you make a banner that annoys me I refresh the fucking page and I damn sure don't click your annoying fucking banner.

              The loud noises from the mouseover makes me jump.

              I, especially, hate the loud noises late night when I about ready to go to sleep.

                                  there is one cam one, I dont even know who its for that flashes that makes me want to close the screen. I surf with the sound off so the banners that make noise dont bother me too much. But the flashing ones piss me off.

                                      Yep, thats wildcamcash, I have to scroll it off the screen when trying to post its so annoying. I think the sponsors try and use the same tactics on webmasters for clickthroughs that affiliates use on surfers, I'd be curious if the signup success was the same.

                                                  I installed flashblock 4 years ago thanks to the NaughtyBank banner, haven't seen a single banner since. Sorry GFY advertisers.

                                                  I'm about 4 weeks into using StuartD's plugin too, GFY is a lot nicer to read with all the contest threads hidden!

                                                              I agree there. Several posters I dont have to see at all, and that is a good thing.

                                                                      I am not a player affiliate however most sponsor programs think if it grabs you and you somehow remember it no matter what the experience its a good thing.

                                                                      Flawed logic attention whoring is what it comes down to basically.
                                                                      I do not like to do things for people that annoy me, not in long run or short run. If they bug me out with the look at me whoring shit forget it. It's a cry of desperation.

                                                                      Desperation means resorting to more shaving more fraud more shit drama that I want nothing to do with.

                                                                              Very true. If a program has good sites people will promote them, plastering your affiliate program name all over everything isn't going to get you more affiliates.

                                                                                      Yep that's the exact point. I don't mind seeing adds and I'm happy for people that make money on them. However as it seems in this topic more and more users are disabling adds because of the annoying ones.

                                                                                      You would think, that would raise some flags for both the owners of this board and the advertisers. I'm yet another "webmaster' that does send sales, whom is about to start blocking flash adds on this site.
