If they are going to hate for me being honest with letting other webmasters know how good or bad the traffic is....well thats pretty shady.

It's possible that the surfers clicked out of the window before the entire site loaded and the ref code was cookied. regardless though, it's an interesting test you are running. I look forward to seeing the rest of the results.

1 email join out of 315 uniques doesn't seem like its clicked traffic to me, more like blind.
