Yeah, just trying to get the best looking footage out of a small hd cam. I was looking at the canon hv30 for my shoot from the hip / rambo intros. The smaller the unit the less conspicuous especially here in LA. Sony makes a small 60 gig external hd unit that seems nice. I have always been the guy that backs up my digital pictures in triplicate. 1 DVD and raided on 2 drives. Tape for me is the best solution I was just trying to get the max out of this little camera.
