    Worst sales week in awhile!

    Anyone else have terribly slow sales this week?

    My income and ratios have been cut in half from just about every sponsor in every niche I promote.

    Fuck, porn is too inconsistent. What can I do to make serious mainstream money?

                              It's just too bad I couldn't see this week coming before it happened, I could have shut off my adwords campaigns and actually saved money.

                              I also tested out new sponsors and webcams on some of my landing pages, which will probably be removed by tomorrow unless they really start to convert. I gotta stop reading these forums however and seeing sponsor reps talk about how great their sites convert. It lures me into trying them, and then I get to waste 500-1000 paid hits on a sale or maybe two.

                                                              mwah... It's not often I can boast but this last week I had my 3rd best week ever!!
                                                              I was dead happy yesterday and thought things would continue as they did last week but it's very quiete.
                                                              I have an inkling that my site has been down or very slow cos I only have a 3rd of the hits of normal... hope that's all it is anyway. It's always the way I have a great week and one of the search engines fucks things up..

                                                                  I have a general questions.. do webcams actually convert with anything but specific webcam traffic? I've been putting them on my niche specific landing pages with SE traffic, and was roughly 0:250 with clickcash (I dropped them after only 250 hits because of how horribly slow their site is or at least was), and 0:230+ with webcams.com. I know they're extremely small samples, but i've dabbled with cams in the past with cams.com and pussycash and have had no luck with them either.

                                                                  Is there a trick to converting cams i'm missing? I hear of people having ratios under 1:100 with SE traffic. Is that most likely keywords like 'black pussy on webcam'?

                                                                  I'm going to try webcams.com for a few more days, but may end up scrapping that type of content all together. At least with paid SE traffic.

I've made some changes to my landing pages earlier in the week, unless I have an amazing sales day (0 so far today - long way to go), it's time to revert back which means no cams, and dropping a few other sponsors who haven't converted. I tried out one this week because they bragged about great ratios (i'm not going to name names), but i'm currently at 1:475 with them.... yea, real great. I'll go broke in no time with those ratios.

                                                                                  Of course things could change with just a few sales, but i'm not optimistic

                                                                                                                  I would have had a really good week of my cam rev share was producing. Maybe next week.

I think I may revert back to all my 'pre-panic' tweaks to my landing pages tonight and hope the new moth starts fresh back to form. I thought it was just my sites, but it does sound like a sucky period for a lot of people.

                                                                                                                                                  i own some mainstream sites and they have been converting poorly with adwords this week too.. like 1:120 instead of 1:80. We're diversifying by expanding our campaigns on other PPC engines.

I'm still tweaking my ads because i'm never satisfied. I hate doing that, I should just accept a 150% or so type of profit and move on looking for new sites / niches instead of trying to tweak it to 200%+ ROI

                                                                                                                                                              Yea, i'm looking at that this week as well. I was talking about normal weeks. This will be the second time my ROI was under 150% this year, and first time it is under 100% since last December.

                                                                                                                                                                  We're seeing 1:487 overall average (which includes some bulk, tgp and P2P traffic) this week and 1:107 with our AdWords traffic this week.

                                                                                                                                                                  I'd say we're right where we want to be and after some changes to the site tour we've been able to drop our conversion ratio by about 100 uniques per conversion.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  This week has been pretty ok. Not great, not horrible. I'm not satisfied with it. I'll just work on adding more rather than changing existing.
