    BACKLASH On Illegal Immigrants after May 1st?

    Will this backfire and unite REAL American Citizens against forigners demanding how we run our country?

    Or will their plans to clog up streets with protesters, make Americans late for work, and hurt public schools actually help them make the point that they want to be a part of this country?

                      I like the illegal Mexicans latest campaign.... "Don't kick us out because you'll break up our families."

                      I think legislation needs to be passed that says children born in the US to illegal immigrants are illegal themselves. Then if the parents can become legal, their minor children do also.

                                                                  I admire them for working so hard to assimilate but at the same time I think it's kind of sad they don't have any pride in their native country and have abandoned the culture. It's a rich culture they should take pride in. My grandmother was born in Texas to Mexican parents and she's the same way.

                                                                      and for the record...I voted YES in the poll. I think the protests in some cities (esp. L.A.) have taken on an ugly tone that can only hurt the cause of immigration reform.

                                                                                  i will definatley fly down and be there the day it happens for him.

                                                                                  i respect America alot, although my dad had to go through years of tough times (just wanting to work) Americans have always treated him well no matter where he goes.

                                                                                  this is why this mexicans piss me off, they are not deserving of a citizenship, they need to pack up and re start the legal way.

                                                                                      Is your father a Canadian? What made him want to move to the U.S. and become a citizen?

                                                                                      My father is an American citizen raised in Edmonton. He never went through any resident or citizenship process to be in Canada. I guess he was an illegal.

                                                                                          Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

The biggest thing that pisses me off is the waving of Mexican flags... like wtf. Carry a goddamn American flag if you are going to protest about citizenship and rights in the US.

On days when it is 100+ degrees and I am bitching because my AC in my car isn't cold enough and there are people out working in the fields wearing jeans, sleeved shirts and hats for pennies so we can save money in the produce dept. at the grocery store. A lot of the migrant workers out there are not legal.

It was all long haired, young white males, building the houses. Shit, both my brothers did it.

                                                                                                                                                      I worked on a produce farm every summer going thru high school. I fucking loved it. Great pay for a teen, and you were done by noon. Now it's all mexicans.

                                                                                                                                                      The other bullshit thing is saying they pay taxes. Sales tax? That doesn't amount to shit. It sure as hell doesn't pay for the 5 kids they have in my kids school, who now make my kids sit and wait so little Juan can learn to speak the english language.

                                                                                                                                                      I thought you had to be a citizen to protest in a country. How about a bunch of us go over to Germany and protest that they don't speak english, and say we want to be citizens. It's fucking ridiculous.

                                                                                                                                                          I agree, and the official stastics from the pro-immigration groups say things like "%28 of dishwashers are illegal immigrants" and "%24 of fruit pickers are illegal immigrants".

                                                                                                                                                          Well... doesnt that still mean the VAST MAJORITY of people doing those jobs are legal? Are you telling me you cant find enough people who need a job to replace only %24 of dishwashers?
