                                                                                                                I think humor is the best way to vent. In my family we often tell jokes at funerals. That is not out of disrespect for the dead but to keep from crying.

                                                                                                                I see that some are pushing the envelope but the large scale of this attack has pushed our emotions past anything that we are used to.

                                                                                                                I don't think I know anyone that was killed Tuesday but, jokes or not, I hurt for each one of them all day.

Not everyone agrees with you and Amputate may be right about the fact that this website may not be your best refuge at this time.

I just think that anyone that had loved 1's or friends involved in the terrorist situation wouldn't make jokes about it. I can laugh at funny things, but anone that wants to box those from the middle east as "arabs" and terrorists is way off. And anyone that wants to make jokes about the WTC Pentagon, and Pensylvania loss is not funny! That is what I was saying!

I'm sure there are many many good Arab people.

                                                                                                                                                                                            I will not, however, condemn anyone making "racist" statements during this time in America. Emotions are too high to make the same rash judgements about the jokesters as they are making about Arabs in general.

But you gotta push past those thoughts. Move forward.
